Mog saves Christmas

This weeks writing task we were to write about a Christmas video that we had watched and i chose to do it from both perspectives,The cat and The Thomas family.I think i done alright and i know there's a spot for improvement and i could've made it more in depth.

The cat’s perspective //

I woke up because I smelt smoke all around where I was sleeping.So I got straight up and jumped to the bench,I hopped over to the oven and walked along it,I had no idea of what made it happen but i tried to open the oven to get the burning item out.I closed it as a whole bit of dark smoke slammed into my face.I got horrified and scared so i backed it up a little bit,I felt that the whole oven was hot so i backed off it.I got so scared i didn’t notice walking all over the phone i heard two buttons that i had stepped on and heard one more as i leaped over to the kitchen table but i heard a voice from the phone as I tried to get right on to the table,I got hold of the table cloth but couldn’t exactly reach the table,But i pulled all the things off the ground but leaped up to table,This time i reached it...So now it was like this time where those popcorn nuts were flying around making everything in the kitchen a disaster.Then i ran out because everything was a mess.

The family’s point

Well We all woke up and heard a siren outside our house not even noticing the fire or smoke filling the air.We came out and were told by the fireman the Mog had actually saved our life and we thought that we should give her an egg so we walked inside and saw everything was black and all burnt.We were all sad then we turned around and saw our whole neighbourhood with their gifts and feasts it was cool our house was set up and full.

In the end Mog looked all guilty and all but then received an egg from one children and that brightened up his day.

Gravitational force

The Gravitational force is a force that attracts any object with mass.Any object including yourself is pulling on every other object in the whole universe. This is called "Newton's universal Law of Gravitation"

This is a strategy that we learnt in math this week about how to solve multiplication and division in a faster way instead of algorithm

Camp 2016

At Camp like two or three weeks ago we went to Woodend Christian camp.There so many activities but i missed a few because there weren't any pictures for it.The time we spent there was cool and helping with the food and chores were actually fun.I enjoyed it heaps and i recommend for the school to go there again

Island Time//

This term for our topic we focused on forces and gravity,We used marbles to experience gravity and the forces that can be used to move the marble along that surface.To show our learning we were to create a type of game and name the forces that are used.The game that me and my buddies made is called 'Pacific Golf'

How are the recycled bottles able to be created into your years trending outfits?

Did you realise that all the plastic bottles you’ve put away can be made into material?. The journey that the plastic bottles go on is complex and dangerous.

First we will chuck all or rubbish that belongs into the recycling bin away. Then that truck will pick it up and take it to the factory,where the recycles would be sorted into different plastic groups. The bottles would be shredded just to release the leftover liquids inside . The bottles will then will be wrapped up and sent round the world to China . It might be rubbish to us but to the chinese it’s valuable.

Now the plastics are in China,they are again to be sorted to separate the clear bits from the coloured. The material that it will be turned into can be dyed,which is why they need clear plastics.They need to be washed,there’s a separate bath for getting rid of the stickers . The workers have to be careful because it’s a caustic soda and bad for the skin.The stickers will come out in this bowl and out the other side come the way,and because the plastics are wet still they will be put into an oven at to be dried for 10 hours . Because it’s hard to change bits of plastic straight into material,the bits of plastic will be tipped into a rotating screw where it’s heated up to 270 degrees.The plastic bottles are made into thread as it exited the big rotating heated screw and is stretched a lot the shredded again and the fluff is boxed up and then sent to another factory.

Here at this factory is where we turn the fluff back into thread .But it’s not all done yet,we now have to stretch the thread to stick it all together. People may think that this is now ready but now we have to soften the thread/material and heat it...now you can feel the material and it’ll feel like a light and fluffy bear.At this point this is when they spread the mateiral across a table and trace a template in a siutable spot where the white material can’t be wasted,because ‘your rubbish they don’t want to create’. Here when they have finished tracing the templates they will cut it and put it away waiting for the rest.So now all the material is made and is traced and cut it out,they send their hard work over to a stylist to create your clothing.

Your recycled plastic bottles don’t all stop at the dump like most of the different rubbishes.They go on a long complex journey and then you’ll reuse them,it’s all part of the ‘recycle,reduce,reuse’ saying.Isn’t it cool that your recycled bottles can be created into your clothing.

We were/are learning to write descriptive paragraphs.

Round the corner,out from under the bridge.A snug,cozy bright lazy sun of 20 degrees came out with big white fluffy clouds.Bob cycles in circles round the block,he’s as fast as a speeding bullet.About to be behind schedule for his final race with about 1 minute left.30 seconds left and he came in a split second.

3...2..1. The race has begun,cycling round the track faster than ever leaning into the edge of the path just to go round.Faster and faster round the track,on his 27th round,having to hit 50 roundz.It’s been about 20 minutes and he’s on his 40th round.10 more times and one more racer to overtake.Coming round to the corner almost at the finish line...done a SPONTANEOUS yell to our first place racer,Bob!!!

This week we were to write a piece of writing to persuade miss to either give us music while education or not to.

Does music help people learn,or distract them?does it depend on the music,or on the person?

Music

I believe music can distract all no matter the type of person or music.This puts people off task.Most of our students are independent and like to work alone which also means they like peace and quiet.When it comes to learning music isn’t the best but it can stop us from learning,Learning is one of the most important things we need in life and our parents send us to school for an education not a vacation.

First,because education is one of the most important things in life music shouldn’t start.Music can put our grades down and it’ll put our parents down too.Our Mothers and Fathers pay for our education and send us to school for the same reason.If they realise that they will be sending us to school just to listen to music they’ll be disappointed and would realise how unprepared we would be for secondary school.

Secondly,secondary school will be straight up strict.If the student will be going to a catholic school and their knowledge in Religious Education is low.The next school they enter would be very confused of what catholic primary school they came to,because as said our parents pay for our Education and send us here for a reason.Many from this year 7&8 class get distracted easily and music won’t do any good to it.

In addition,Music isn’t the problem nor the person but music can be a big distraction when it comes to school and education.Music can also annoy many and from my point of view there would be no point in music because our class can just talk normally and it’ll ruin that reward.No one would ever have a finished piece of learning work and will end up going home with no answer if their parents or family members ask what they learnt that current day at school.

I highly recommend no music because education is about learning the good skills in life and the soon to be secondary students wouldn’t be any where near prepared for their next school.
